Opening night of the 2019 Spring Extravaganza was up and running Friday night, and the basketball played got the event rolling quickly. Several players put together some solid and even exciting performances in front of college coaches to kick things off and set the tone for the weekend. TOP PERFORMERS
RAHEEM ANTHONY - 2019 - G - ALL IN

Anthony was physical and aggressive for All In throughout the game Friday night, really pressuring the opponent and making plays from start to finish. He got to the cup and finished with good strength and balance, he hit shots (including one from the perimeter) and knocked down free throws en route to a 19-point performance and leading his team to a W.

VERNON "SHILO" BOWLES - 2020 - SF - WI RAP
Bowles played with great energy and patience throughout the game Friday night, and in turn really made an impact for his team. He was active recovering the basketball and playing strong defensively. He got to the basket and made a couple nice buckets going at the rim, and then later in the game really helped stretch his team's lead with a pair of three-pointers that showcased his ability to shoot the ball as well. He finished with 12 points.

REID GASTNER - 2020 - SG - MN COMETS ELITE
Gastner played a really solid game for the Comets of Minnesota as he just put himself in the right places all game long. He hunted open spots on the floor and made the nets curl a couple times when he got that clean look from three-point range. He also took the ball strong to the basket and either finished under control or drew the foul and got to the free throw line where he was also excellent. Nice 14-point effort to lead the way for his team opening night.

WENDELL GREEN - 2020 - PG - MICHIGAN PLAYMAKERS
Green made several outstanding plays for the Playmakers in tightly contested battle opening night where he led his team in scoring. Besides just scoring though, Green was aggressive and played with determination, accepting the challenge from a tough opponent and making big plays attacking the rim, stepping back for some nice shots and also getting himself free throw attempts by playing strong and keeping the defense off balance, finishing with 16 points.

BAYLOR HEBB - 2020 - PG - 3D EMPIRE
The standout guard out of Texas rose to the challenge big time for his team Friday night. Playing without his backcourt teammate McLaughlin, Hebb constantly drew faceguards and doubles from the opponent and still willed himself to find looks at the hoop, and more often than not he found the bottom of the net. He hit big three's, he finished around the rim with back-cuts in the offense or going quick and under control in transition. Big time performance for Hebb going for 25 points with 5 triples.

LAWRENCE "LJ" HENDERSON - 2020 - PG - QUAD CITY ELITE
Henderson was excellent for Quad City in its first game Friday night. He played with a determined patience where he was able to attack the basket but with control and feeling out the gaps in the defense. Henderson finished well at the hoop, he got to the free throw line, he shared the ball well, and he knocked down shots away from the paint also.

ISAIAH STEWART - 2020 - G - WI DYNASTY
Stewart played steady for Dynasty and his heady and athletic play helped keep his team in the game until right down the stretch. Stewart knocked down some tough shots and also made some plays sharing the ball with his teammates and helping create open looks. He finished with a solid 12-point effort in a close loss opening night. 

STOCK BOOSTERS
JAMES KELLEY - 2019 - SF - WI RAP

Kelley continued to impress with his play Friday night by rebounding hard and consistently attacking the basket with good balance, body control,  and strength while finishing with nice touch at the rim. He played again with good energy and should be another player to look at as an unsigned 2019 prospect.

ELIJAH KING - 2022 - PG - MN COMETS ELITE
King showed why he's playing up with the 17's early with a couple really nice plays going to the basket. He caught a lob on the first trip up the court and finished it catching the ball in traffic and controlling his body against the contact and laying the ball in. He also drove to the hoop under control and made some nice plays for his teammates.

OMAR ZEIGLER - 2021 - SG - MICHIGAN PLAYMAKERS
Zeigler has some excellent athletic traits and utilized them well in the game to produce on both ends of the floor. He rebounded well, he attacked the basket with control and burst and finished a tip in rebound out jumping the opponent on the break. He played up a level and proved he's capable of elevating his game.
