The Class of 2021 has talented prospects still on the board from coast to coast with the COVID-19 pandemic turning the recruiting landscape into a nightmare at times for schools and families alike.  One talented prospect that could be a potential steal is Javon Small of AZ Compass Prep.

A 6’3 guard from Indiana, Small moved to AZ Compass Prep this fall and he’s continuing to do much of the same things he did this past spring and summer with the George Hill-All Indy program.  An ultra-quick guard with an ability to create and score, Small handles the ball exceptionally well, he can finish from all levels, and he’s a tough competitor that wants the biggest stage and the brightest lights whenever possible.  He has solid instincts and feel that he pairs with advanced skill and toughness to make for a highlight intriguing and talented guard still on the board in the 2021 class.

Ball State, Indiana State, Miami (OH), Akron, Kent State, IPFW, IUPUI, and Grand Canyon have extended offers to him already with Virginia Tech, St. Mary’s, Weber State, Washington, DePaul, and Georgia also expressing interest.  As the 2021 class goes there are a number of potential steals in the class still on the board and this talented guard is front and center for schools looking to shore up their recruiting class this spring.
