Another class of 2021 player from the George Hill All Indy program has picked up a scholarship offer. This one was for Eddie Jones, a 6’5” wing from Pike High School in Indianapolis. The offer came from Kentucky Wesleyan University and head coach Drew Cooper.

The offer from Kentucky Wesleyan was Jones first one. “It was a great feeling knowing that I received one,” Jones commented on how he felt to receive his first offer. In addition to the Kentucky Wesleyan offer, Jones also has interest from a number of programs on a variety of levels. Chicago State, Davenport, Eastern Washington, Grand Valley State, and Lander University have all shown interest in the senior.

When talking about his thoughts about Kentucky Wesleyan, Jones said “Kentucky Wesleyan is a great school. The coaches are great and it’s a great school.” Cooper and the Panthers staff have been recruiting Jones over the last couple of months.

During his senior year campaign, Jones has been averaging 13.6 points 6.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game. He is second on Pike in points in addition to leading them in rebounds to have them out to a 6-4 record currently.

“I just want to go to a school that fits me and wants to help me grow as a young man and an athlete,” Jones stated as the main thing he is looking for in his future college. At this time, Jones has no exact timeline on when he is expecting to make a commitment, but is looking towards after the season in March or April.
