After standing out last summer with George Hill All Indy, Lebron Gough has continued to grow his game to compete at the next level. Now while only a freshman, Gough is already making an impact on the varsity level for a highly talented Cathedral High School team. The 6’0” guard is taking advantage of all his minutes on the floor averaging 4 points and 3 assists per game to help Cathedral out to a 10-3 record on the season so far.

Gough is a talented guard that plays well on both ends of the floor. He is an effective playmaker that plays well with the ball in his hands. The freshman handles the ball well in addition to his quickness to be able to get into the paint effectively and create. He has a very good ability to finish around the paint but also has good vision on the move.

On the defensive end Gough uses his quickness and aggressiveness to be a tough on ball defender. Gough has a very high ceiling with all his tools. A few players that he models his game after include Allen Iverson, Penny Hardaway, and Jason Kid.

“My goals for the rest of the season are to do what I have to do for the team to win, finish strong, keep building my confidence and continue to learn as much as possible,” Gough stated about the rest of his freshman season. Gough is a player to track the rest of this high school season and moving into the spring.
