An intriguing prospect from Indiana’s 2023 class that holds a couple offers is Spencer White. White is a 6’5” guard/forward that attends Carmel High School.

He picked up his first offer last summer in July from Coastal Carolina University. Last month Marian University became the second school to extend a scholarship offer to White. When talking about these two schools that have offered him, White said “They both have trust in me, and my skill set and want to see me succeed.” The junior also has interest from a few schools in the Missouri Valley Conference as well as ones from various levels.

As a part of an incredibly talented Carmel team that also includes Peter Suder, Charlie Williams, and Sam Orme, White has been a key piece to help them achieve a 17-5 record as they go into post season play. They will get their start in the state tournament next week after receiving an opening round bye.

“A guard, forward who can stretch the floor well, create for others, and defend one through four,” White said to describe his game. Even as a good shooter with range, that is an aspect of his game he would like to improve upon after the season. One other thing White will be working upon is his explosiveness.

With his versatility, size, and skills, White has plenty to offer college programs. This spring he will be playing with Kyle Guy Elite.
