One of the several members of the loaded George Hill All Indy 2023 team that continues to excel on the hardwood is Sheridan Sharp. The 6’3” junior point guard is in the midst of a breakout season to help Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis to a 19-6 season. On the year, he is averaging 13 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds a game.

With his strong continuous play over the past year, Sharp has attracted plenty of interest from division one programs across the nation. Alabama A&M, Boise State, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Miami (OH), Wisconsin-Green Bay, and Wyoming are amongst the schools recruiting him.

“A true point guard,” is the first thing Sharp said to describe his game. Adding in, “I am a pass first point who can also pick up ninety-four feet and also get a bucket. I love to get my teammates going and making sure they are all happy on the court making sure they get their touches.” A couple things that the junior would like to improve upon include getting physically stronger and quicker decision-making ability.

When talking about his recruitment and what he brings to a program on the next level, Sharp said “I feel that college coaches should recruit me because I am a coachable player who leads on and off the court and is willing to get any job done one hundred percent.”

Look for Sharp to be a popular name amongst college coaches this spring will all the tools he has on both ends of the floor.
