In the current recruiting landscape, scholarship offers have been very tough to come by. One from Indiana’s 2023 class that does holds a division one offer for himself is Preston Roberts of Noblesville High School (IN). His offer comes from Coastal Carolina which extended it to him last summer.

“The college itself is a beautiful campus and are really making a name for themselves for basketball,” the 6’4” guard said about Coastal Carolina. While they are his only offer to date, he does have interest from a number of other division one programs and from other levels as well.

At Noblesville High School this season, Roberts averaged 10.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.1 steals per game. “All-around with a definite scorer’s mentality. However, when my game is off, I take pride in my defense and look to make my teammates better," he said to describe his game.

In the upcoming spring season, Roberts will be playing with the Kyle Guy Elite program. “I’m explosive, athletic, and to what I feel, am a high major athlete,” are the things that he is looking to show college coaches in the coming months. He wants to prove that there is much more to his game than what coaches may see on film.
