One junior that has continued to show tremendous upside this spring is Jake Cherry of the Kyle Guy Elite program. After a breakout junior season at Eastern Pekin High School (IN) in which he averaged 14.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game, the stock of Cherry continues to soar month after month.

Even while standing at 6’10”, Cherry has a good combination of mobility and a versatile skill set. “I would describe my game as skilled inside with the ability to knock in shots from beyond. Athletic big with the ability to effect a lot of shots,” Cherry said about his game.

“I’m active, willing to do what it takes to win,” Cherry said about he would like college coaches to know about him. He added in “Hard working along with good work ethic. Also, I’m a supportive teammate willing to bring up the morale of a team.”

As of now, Bethel University is the lone offer from Cherry. Bethel offered the lengthy big man recently towards the end of April. As well to his one offer, a long list of programs from various scholarship levels have expressed in him. Air Force, Columbia, Cornerstone, Eastern Illinois, Incarnate Word, Lewis, Northwood, are amongst these programs. Look for more college programs to join this list in the coming months.
