Just an incredible day of hoops at Homestead High School with a combination of the NY2LA Association championships on the line in addition to showcase games being played with plenty of shoe teams in the building.

Jamson Coulter – 2026 – PG – Mac Irvin Fire

Coulter showed today why he is one of the top 2026 players in the Midwest. He is an athletic guard with a high skill level. The rising sophomore shot the ball well from the outside but excelled attacking the basket. He led the Fire to a win going for 23 points, doing much of his damage in the second half to secure the victory.

Yusef Gray – 2026 – G – Phenom University

It was a big day for Gray helping Phenom University capture the 15U championship. He scored 17 points in the semifinals and then went for 14 in the title game victory. Playing off the dribble, Gray was just unstoppable constantly getting into the paint and making plays.

Darrius Peete – 2026 – G/F – Chapman Basketball

Peete had a very good day on Friday and then stepped up his game to another level on Saturday. He was a prominent reason that his team was able to make it all the way to the 15U championship game. Peete can do a lot on the floor but stood out the most going to the basket strong and defensive play.

Azavier Robinson – 2025 – PG – George Hill All Indy

While there were several players from George Hill All Indy that played large roles in their championship run, it was Robinson leading the charge today. He came through in the championship game scoring 19 points and also distributing it effectively as they were able to grab the overtime victory to win it all.

Treyvon Taylor – 2025 – SF – MidPro Academy

One of several players from this championship 16U MidPro Academy team that rolled through the tournament. He scored ten points in the semifinals and then another ten points in the title game. Though it is truly everything else he did that gets him on this this list with his defensive versatility, aggressive rebounding, and high energy plays.
