It was one last day of great basketball to finish off the NY2LA summer season and the July live period. Here are Sunday’s standouts that excelled in front of a large crowd of college coaches. Plenty of additional coverage coming shortly.

Derek Collins – 2025 – G – 94 Feet Elite

As well to scoring 15 points, Collins was also a standout on the defensive end with his energetic play. He was taking the game over at points coming up with steals and deflections leading 94 Feet Elite to a victory. He was able to force plenty of turnovers and convert a few of them into transitions buckets for himself the other way.

Tim Franks – 2024 – SG – Chapman Basketball

Franks continued what he has been doing at NY2LA tournaments for years, scoring in bunches. In the last game of the day to finish up The Final Chapter, Franks scored 26 points in a tight game up against Mac Irvin Fire. Throughout the game he showcased his smooth jumper hitting five threes.

Jason Harris – 2025 – PG – D Rice Elite

In one of the best games of the entire tournament, Harris came through when it mattered most. In a deadlocked game that advanced all the way to triple overtime Harris scored the game winning bucket. He took the ball coast to coast getting all the way to the basket for the game winner.

Cole Hayworth – 2024 – G – Team Focus

Not only one of the top performances of the day but Hayworth had one of the best games of the tournament to start off Sunday morning games. The bouncy 6’5” guard scored a staggering 36 points in the victory getting it done in numerous ways from all three levels.

Jack Sullivan – 2025 – SG – Moss Elite

In a tournament full of great shooters, Sullivan may be one of the best. In one of his Sunday’s games, Sullivan went off for 25 point games. He did the majority of his damage from the outside hitting a staggering seven three pointers displaying his great looking jump shot.
