Last up in my 17U coverage from The Final Chapter is the ones to watch part two.

Aidan Konop – 2024 – PG – 24Up

Konop was a standout over the weekend who also came up in the biggest of moments. On Saturday he got the game winning basket in double overtime up against Phenom University. He is a high IQ who excels in the half courts offensively playing at his pace. Konop has good feel and sees the floor well creating for himself and teammates playing on the attack.

Josiah Gustin – 2024 – F – All Ohio Select

Gustin had a strong game on Friday going for 19 points. At 6’7” with his skill set, energy, and mobility, he has an incredibly well-rounded game. Throughout the tournament, Gustin was always making plays having a big impact to help his team win games. With a good-looking jumper hitting three threes in one game, ability to handle the ball, and physical tools, Gustin can score the ball from all over the floor. A very high upside player with all his tools.

Nate Nazos – 2024 – PG – Mercury Elite

It was a big tournament for Nazos who not only had games of 21 points and 19 points, but also hit game winning free throws in another game. As well to his scoring, he is a smart point guard who knows how to play and sees the floor well. On the defensive end he also plays with great energy defending the ball.

Jaden Smith – 2024 – F/C – Mac Irvin Fire

The stock of Smith continues to trend upwards with all his tools. He stands at 6’11” with elite length and moves so well on the floor at his size. Smith is an elite rim protector who covers plenty of ground. Offensively, he is a big finisher around the rim and a lob threat. He just added an offer from Georgia Tech and has incredible upside.

Jaheem Webber – 2024 – C – MidPro Academy

Webber was a big reason this very deep MidPro team made it all the way to the semifinals continuously making plays in the paint on both ends. At 6’10” with his strength he can be a force in the paint. He had a few good scoring games getting in double figures finishing on a high number of his paint touches. Webber can overpower defenders to get great position and finish right through or over them. He also showed good shot blocking ability, at times shutting down the interior to drivers. Following the tournament he added an offer from Eastern Illinois.
