One more piece of coverage from The Final Chapter. The ones to watch from the talented 15U level. All five are names to know in the regions 2026 class. 

Deuce Burkes – 2026 – G – Power 5

While Burkes is an electric scorer who has a great ability to get it done in bunches, he was also a standout with his defensive play. He plays with such tremendous energy on the defensive end pressuring the ball and wreaking havoc on opposing offenses. On the other he did much of scoring on the attack, constantly getting into the paint with his quickness and moves to score it effectively. 

Jamson Coulter – 2026 – PG – Mac Irvin Fire

Over the course of multiple games, Coulter showed what makes him such a high-level guard. He is an explosive point guard with a very high skill level as well to being a playmaker on both ends of the floor. He scored the ball well from all three levels but excels taking it strong to the basket. 

Izaya Larthridge – 2026 – G/F – United Persuit

Larthridge has continued to improve each tournament to be one of the most impactful players on the 15U NY2LA Association. Whether it was with his scoring, rebounding, defense, or just his high energy plays, the 6’4” lengthy wing was consistently making winning plays to help his team reach the quarterfinals. He is a tough player with some strength scoring it well around the paint and driving to the basket. 

Rashaun Porter – 2026 – SF – Illinois Wolves

A high upside forward who is already a very impactful player with all he can do. He already has good size at 6’7” but a nice blend of size and quickness. Whether he was scoring around the paint and mid-range, playing tough defense, rebounding everything near him, or making high energy plays, Porter was always contributing in his games. 

JJ Walters – 2026 – SF – Chapman Basketball

Walters had a big season with Chapman and that continued greatly into The Final Chapter where he helped his team all the way into the title game. Game after game, the 6’4” Walters was scoring it efficiently in the double figures getting it done in a variety of ways. Already at a young age, he has a very high skill set and feel.
