The NY2LA Sports Top 40 Fall League hit the hardwood in Wisconsin this past fall and with most of the top talent in the state on the court it presented an opportunity for prospects to take another step forward in their development while also opening some eyes with strong play.  The past couple weeks we took a look at the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team All-League Selections and we continue down that path with a glance at the 4th team selections this morning…

Alex Singleton – 6’7 – 2021 – F – Wauwatosa East (WI)

The nuts and bolts forward had a solid fall campaign as he continued to show high energy with an ability to score and rebound the basketball at a high level.  He’s a max effort player that posted top 15 scores in Floor Impact, Efficiency, Points Per Game, and Rebounds Per Game.  At his best he brings all the toughness and intangibles a coach would want and he’s one of many still on the board that could be a potential steal.  

Samuel Hytinen – 6’5 – 2021 – SG – Arrowhead (WI)
25.75 FIPG (14) – 11 MPG (6) – 13.25 EPG (7)
14.25 PPG (22) – 4.5 APG (6) – 5.5 RPG (19) 
A talented sharpshooting guard, Hytinen took a leap forward this fall with his overall floor impact posted top 10 marks in Matrix, Efficiency, and Assists per game while delivering a top 15 mark in his overall floor impact.  He has nice size, range beyond the arc, and an ability to deliver both scoring the basketball as well as filling the box score.  He had a really nice fall campaign.  

Jordan Johnson – 6’1 – 2021 – G – Elkhorn (WI)
24.67 FIPG (18) - 17.67 PPG (8) 
A scoring guard, Johnson delivered a top 10 mark in putting the ball in the basket and a top 20 mark in overall Floor Impact per game.  He can score from all three levels and he’s an attack first guard who looks to finish from any level.  He has the ability to score in bunches and put a team on his back when he gets it going.  

Steven Clay – 6’5 – 2021 – SG – Menomonee Falls (WI)
24.67 FIPG (19) – 7.5 MPG (25) 
16.33 PPG (13) – 1.83 SPG (7) – 1.17 BPG (4)
One of the bright up and coming talents in the 2022 class, Clay impressed with his focus defensively posting top 10 marks in steals and blocks this fall.  Mix in top 25 marks in Matrix, Floor Impact, and Points per game and it was a solid performance.  He is a versatile scoring talent that is emerging as a strong floor impact guy as well across the board.  

Nolan Rieder – 6’9 – 2021 – F/C – Sussex Hamilton (WI)
23.67 FIPG (22) – 8.17 MPG (17) – 9.67 EPG (21)
14.67 PPG (14) – 6.17 RPG (14) 
He quietly had a really nice overall fall campaign for a guy who didn’t get a lot of minutes in high school to date.  He has excellent size and a nice frame and his aggressiveness took a step forward as well.  A high academic big, Rieder posted top 25 marks in Floor Impact, Matrix, Efficiency, Points Per Game, and Rebounds per contest.  He finished from all levels and showed an ability to be a force around the basket as well this fall.  His activity and energy was the best it’s been to date.
