One of the top seniors left available in Indiana is now off the board. On Wednesday, Jermaine Coleman announced his commitment to in-state Purdue Fort Wayne. The Horizon League program was able to beat out a number of other division one programs that had offered him.

The 6’7” wing of Park Tudor in Indianapolis and the Indy Heat program, picked the Mastodons over his other offers from Akron, Evansville, IUPUI, Penn, SIUE, St. Thomas, Valparaiso, and Wright State. The lengthy, smooth shooting wing had a very strong year on the EYBL with the Indy Heat to move up ranking boards and earn many of these offers just over the past few months.

The commitment comes after Purdue Fort Wayne had offered him in September during a visit. “My visit there was great. It was very welcoming, and I enjoyed every second of it,” Coleman said about the trip to Fort Wayne.

When asked what are the main things he likes about Purdue Fort Wayne, Coleman stated “I really like PFW’s play style, I feel like it fits my game perfectly. Coach Coffman is a great coach who knows what he’s doing. I also really like the education there, it’s top tier.
