One of the few freshmen in the Midwest to already have received a scholarship offer is DeZhon Hall. The 6’3” guard of Tindley High School (IN) and Team Rose received his first offer back in September.

IUPUI was the first school to offer Hall. “I was very excited and thankful to pick up my first offer especially since I haven’t even played a real high school game yet,” Hall said. While he has not been able to visit IUPUI yet, he plans on visiting soon.

While IUPUI is the only offer so far, there are plenty of other programs interested including some prominent schools. Bowling Green, Butler, Miami (OH), Ohio State, and Purdue have all shown interest early on for Hall.

Already at a young age, Hall is an explosive guard with some size. He is a skilled scorer that excels attacking the basket with his quickness, athleticism, and ability to finish at a high rate. The freshman is a dynamic playmaker that can not only score it a high level but also run the point effectively.

Only a freshman, Hall is looking to accomplish some big things in the upcoming season. He is looking to “compete for a state title and to also be regarded as one of the top freshmen in the country.”
