Another member of the George Hill All Indy 2023 group has made their commitment to a division one program. This one was to Sheridan Sharp who picked Nicholls State of the Southland Conference.

Sharp, a 6’3” guard of Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, chose Nicholls State over his other offers of Incarnate Word, IUPUI, and Kent State. “I feel like the reason why I chose Nicholls State because it suits my game and I bult relationships with the head coach (Austin Claunch) that I really liked.”

Part of choosing Nicholls State for Sharp was his game fitting in with their play style. “I see my game fitting in right along their play style picking up ninety-four feet and pushing the ball.” Nicholls State was the first division one school to have offered Sharp doing so last spring during his strong grassroots season with George Hill All Indy.

He announced his commitment to the Colonels with a video on Monday. Sharp is currently averaging 10.3 points, 6.5 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2 steals per game during his senior season at Ben Davis. Behind Sharp, they are currently undefeated sitting at an 18-0 record. He marks their first commitment in their 2023 recruiting class.
