Joshua Renfro has continued to develop into one of the top 2025 guards in all of Indiana recently. Even as just a sophomore, the 6’2” shooting guard has been one of the top scorers in the entire state this season for Christian Academy of Indiana.

On the season, Renfro is currently averaging 22 points per game to go along with 4.8 rebounds. This lofty number is following a recent outburst of a 40-point performance last week. “The 40-point game felt amazing, my three was falling and I was hitting my mid-range. Credit to my teammates for finding me when I was open,” Renfro said about the game. Not only did he score 40-points but did so very effectively going a remarkable 10-13 from three. “When I’m hitting my shots, it feels amazing because the shots I get up day in and day out pay off.”

Behind his 22 points per game, Christian Academy of Indiana is sitting at a 15-5 record on the season. Renfro credits his shot making ability and hitting threes as his best skills. “I would describe my game as a scorer. I feel like I can score the ball in all three ways.” To compliment his high-level scoring ability, he is looking to hitting the weight room this offseason to improve his strength.

Renfro has started to attract interest from several colleges ranging from division one to NAIA programs over the past several months. Following his sophomore high school season, the guard will be suiting up for Kyle Guy Elite in the upcoming grassroots season.
