Another group needed for all the talent at this years Swish N’ Dish. Here are a few last players that impressed over the weekend with their play.

Cole Certa – 2024 – SG – Illinois Wolves

Throughout the course of the weekend, the skilled 2024 wing guard scorer the ball efficiently. He is one a few highly talented players on the well-rounded Wolves team alongside Daniel Johnson, Jehvion Starwood, Angelo Ciaravino, Jaylan McElroy, and others to have solid showings this tournament. Certa is a high-level shooter from the outside that saw plenty of defensive attention but was still able to find his shot and make some plays off the dribble. With much attention, he never forced anything and looked to distribute.

Tim Franks – 2024 – SG – Chapman Basketball Academy

In one of the top games of the weekend in a talent filled game versus Denard Bros, Franks scored 20 points. The 6’5” high IQ guard is one of the top scorers in the area and got it done effectively throughout the tournament as he also had an 18-point game. A gifted shooter from the outside that has only continued to round the rest of his game with his playmaking ability off the dribble and quickness.

DJ Moss – 2023 – G/F – George Hill All Indy Unsigned

Moss is a tough and athletic 6’4” wing who can do a bit of everything on the floor. He plays with good energy and makes plenty of winning plays on both ends of the floor. The unsigned senior knocked down some threes, has good moves attacking the paint, and finished the ball strong inside.

Kyle Olagbegi – 2023 – SF – Greater Purpose Athletics

Along with the previously written about George Bellevue, the duo was a highly impactful pair for GPA. The senior is a long and bouncy wing forward with a good all-around skill set. A tough defender who can match up with multiple positions effectively and on the offensive end scored it very effectively going to the basket finishing everything strong.

Chris Riddle – 2024 – G/F – Mac Irvin Fire

In the 17U championship game, Riddle was the difference maker. With his team behind in the second half of the championship game, it was Riddle who came alive with his outside shooting spurring the comeback. So much more than just a shot maker, the tough and athletic wing, was also key with his defensive play. A very tough on ball defender with his athleticism, length, and energy.
