It was an eventful day of hoops on Sunday to finish off the Spring Extravaganza. Here are some of the standouts from day three of the tournament.
Moses Blackwell – 2025 – PG – REACH Legends
The electric point guard was unstoppable at times on Sunday morning. In the first half alone, he scored a whopping 22-points by way of hitting six three pointers. He finished the game with 28-points in a lopsided 20-point victory. Not just a marksman from the outside, he is an incredibly quick point with the ball in his hands getting all over the floor.
Malachi Cosby – 2024 – SG – Team Loaded 804
Cosby was an overpowering force on Sunday on his way to a 25-point game. He stands at 6’4” with a strong build. He scored it incredibly effective down in the paint getting there on drives and cuts or scoring on dump off and put backs.
Kyle Jorgenson – 2024 – F/C – MN Comets
Against a tough George Hill All Indy Unsigned team, Jorgenson took over scoring 28 points in a win. Jorgenson is a fundamentally sound big with nice footwork scoring the ball at a high rate down on the block. Though he also showed some good skills being able to attack the basket and hit a couple of threes.
Jake Stephens – 2024 – G – DV45
Stephens had one of the top scoring performances of Sunday with a 32-point game in a winning effort. He was incredibly effective going strong into the paint and finishing. The guard has good strength and battles his way into the paint often but was also incredibly effective getting to the line going 10-10 from the charity stripe.
Brandon Tilley – 2024 – SF – Wisconsin Swing
Tilley continued his breakout spring on Sunday with a 27-point game. He made his biggest impact in the game beyond the arc, knocking down four threes but also did much more. He plays with good energy, is a versatile defender, and scored it off the bounce.
