It has been an eventful few months for KJ Windham. Back in March, he won the 4A Indiana state championship with Ben Davis High School to finish off a remarkable undefeated season. Following his junior season and in the April live periods with Meanstreets, the 6’2” guard has been one of the fastest rising prospects in the region adding a few additional offers to his list.

Over the past week, Windham has added offers from Long Island University, Miami (OH), Murray State and now most recently Kent State. This is in addition to his previous offers of Akron, IUPUI, Northern Kentucky, and Western Michigan. In addition to his offers, plenty of other programs have shown interest in him including Belmont, Bucknell, Indiana State, Iona, Loyola Chicago, Northwestern, Stanford, among several others.

“All of the schools that offered are on me heavily, most of the schools I named are recruiting me pretty good right now” Windham said when asked if any programs are standing out. Adding in, “But I love all of them honestly, still a lot of summer ball left though so we will see.”

This spring on the Nike EYBL, Windham and Meanstreets have a 5-3 record after the first two tournaments. Right now, the 6’2” guard is averaging 8 points and 2.1 assists in 22 minutes a game. “Great start so far, going to continue to try to improve every weekend and stay healthy,” he said about his grassroots season.
